Mr Shannon Quick

Jarrod Miles Interventionist

Favourite thing about Blue Haven Public School: feeling valued while making positive contributions to the lives of others. Why did you become a teacher: I never wanted to become a teacher. Both of my parents, my brothers, and my uncles and cousins were teachers. Christmas gatherings were boring! I only ever want to be rich, and as such, I began a Commerce degree. Shortly a fter, I withdrew from my world financial domination and business ambitions. In my second practice teaching experience I realised that I had found my passion – teaching. I’ve never considered doing anything else since.

Mr Daniel Koch

Favourite thing about Blue Haven Public School: our high standards and the hard work of a dedicated team. Why did you become a teacher: I have always enjoyed learning but never liked the way things were done when I was at school. I enjoy making learning accessible and fun for people who would not normally be interested in a given subject.

Mr Aiden McCann

Favourite thing about Blue Haven Public School: The students are incredibly fun to teach, and it is they who make this job so enjoyable! Why did you become a teacher: When I was in Kindergarten I watched my teacher turn a boring subject into some fun, engaging and inspiring lessons.
